Welcome to Luckett CC
Luckett cricket club is a very traditional Cornish village club with a strong and friendly family atmosphere. Luckett is a small village on the outskirts of Callington and our team has been competing in the Cornish leagues for many years.
We have two sides with the 1st team playing in County One and the 2nds play in Division 4 East. We are particularly proud to have competed in County One for the last 4 seasons finishing 6th in 2006, 9th in 2007, 8th in 2008, 8th in 2009 and we hope to improve on that again this year.
We will also be playing in the National Village Cup this year for the first time as well as having a 20/20 side to play in the Tamar evening league.
Being a small family club, we don't have the funds to pay players or get overseas players to join us, so competing at the level we do is a credit to all of our dedicated members.
This year we are cycling 102 miles from Ilfracoombe to Plymouth to raise necessary funds for the survival of our club.
We are lucky enough to have a number of very talented youngsters at our club, all of whom will be playing full men’s cricket in our 2nds.
We welcome any new members to our club with open arms, so whether you’re looking for a game of cricket or just to be involved on a Saturday afternoon, feel free to pop along!
